Radical Relax invites you to a mystery of waking the frozen earth to life and thawing rigid bodies, hearts and minds!
Spring Festival is a ritual moment of passage:
- from freezing to feeling
- from stillness to rebirth
- from sleep to blooming
This is a communal experience in which tensions and limits melt and energy begins to flow freely. Here the trembling earth and trembling bodies form a single living organism.
This is not a reconstruction of ancient rites — it is a living ritual created here and now by moved bodies and presence.
DANCE MYSTERY in three acts:
ACT I — AWAKENING OF THE EARTH
- Bathing whisk ceremonies: they warm frozen bones, awaken the senses and saturate with forest scent.
- Live drums: gentle tapping and slapping, shared rhythms.
- Movement in the garden: with bare feet we feel the sleeping heartbeat of the earth, rhythmic stomping and kneading, synchronized with the rumble of the underground heart.
- The lasting trance of wild spinning ends when the last participant collapses to the ground.
ACT II — THE PROCESSIONAL OFFERING
- Recha Choir carries in an effigy of Marzanna made of straw and plant decorations; simple melodies of repeated chants will synchronize breath and heartbeat.
- The procession leads to a candle-decorated pool; immersing and burning the straw Marzanna symbolically ends the time of winter.
ACT III — DANCE MANIA
- After the ritual the dance energy explodes on the floor: ESSEX in a DJ live act combining electronics, folk and live instruments.
- Trance rhythms lead to a group manic ecstasy in which individual tensions dissolve into a collective experience.
We invite you to a collective ritual of awakening in a unique artistic setting and magical, plant-based decorations.
Schedule:
19:00 — participant registration and settling into the space; heated sauna and hot tub
20:00 — bathing whisk ceremonies with live drums
21:00 — Recha Choir: awakening the earth, circulation ritual and burning of Marzanna
22:00 — ESSEX DJ live act and jam session until dawn
Event led by:
NATALIA "XYMENA" AMBROZIAK — fascial masseuse MAS and MER, massage teacher, breathwork trainer and BBTRS therapist; combining body and nervous system work with artistic practices. Owner of the Radical Relax salon and Bath Mystery.
About the performers:
ESSEX — artist, DJ, producer and promoter combining organic electronics, psychedelia and downtempo; improvises with live looping and acoustic instruments (transverse flutes, mandolin, keys, vocals). At Radical Relax he will play with Grzegorz Kielan (djembe).

- From January the price also includes a hot tub
- Possible barter involvement or discounts for musicians/dancers — write to the organizers
Venue and amenities:
Radical Relax — RUBINOWA 5 (a slightly open gate from Błękitna Street), a property surrounded by a wall covered in ivy, a few steps from PKP WAWER station (Warsaw).
- Parking: on Rubinowa and Widoczna; please do not park on Błękitna Street (main entrance). Please be quiet when closing cars at night.
- On site: heated bath, hot tub and cold pool (pool water replaced before the event)
- In the sauna ceremonies using oak and eucalyptus whisk bundles and hot foam massages
- Warm lounge for rest and kitchen: filtered water, kombucha, lemonade, tea, fruit
- Garden with a large lawn, covered shelter and bonfire
What to bring:
- at least two towels
- a scarf made of natural material or a hat
- optionally a robe or slippers
DRESSCODE: spring in any interpretation
The event is free from alcohol and substances
