You are cordially invited to the third week of the 2026 winter retreat in Poland, taught by Zen Master Dae An (Bogumiła Malinowska). Zen Master Dae An received transmission from Zen Master Ji Kwang on 15 June 2024 and is the Guiding Teacher of the London Zen Centre. She was born in north‑western Poland; has practiced since 1983; ran Zen centres in Poland and has led the London Zen Centre since 2005. She regularly participates in Kyol Che retreats in South Korea.
The retreat is open to anyone who wants to begin or continue meditation practice rooted in the Korean sŏn tradition (Kwan Um School). Participation is possible from a minimum of three days (2nd entry) up to four weeks.
There will be two one-on-one interviews with the teacher during the weekly session. New participants: all necessary guidance and answers will be given at the introduction on the day the retreat begins. Remember: the retreat is time to deepen contact with your inner self; keeping silence is a great gift we can give ourselves and other participants.
The third week of Kyol Che is part of a four-week retreat taking place at Wu Bong Sa temple and part of a three-month European winter retreat program.
