You are cordially invited to the fourth week of the 2026 winter retreat in Poland, where Zen Master Joeng Hye will teach.
Joeng Hye SSN (Zen Master Andrzej Piotrowski) first encountered Zen practice as a member of a theater group that organized workshops on human spirituality. He later became a disciple of Zen Master Seung Sahn and trained intensively at Wu Bong Sa, the School’s main temple in Poland. He received Inka and Dharma transmission and is the Guiding Teacher of the Main Temple and centers in Poland and abroad. He works as a physical therapist.
There will be two one-on-one interviews with the teacher during the weekly session.
Beginners: you will receive all necessary instructions at the introduction on the day the retreat begins. The abbreviated session begins on Thursday at 18:00 and lasts until Sunday.
This Kyol Che week is part of a four-week retreat at the Wu Bong Sa temple and a three-month European winter retreat program.
