About the event

From a therapeutic perspective—whether in osteopathy, physiotherapy, massage, or other bodywork, the autonomic nervous system (ANS) is a kind of critical infrastructure in our organism — a type of “wiring” that supports bodily functions that do not require conscious will.

We usually divide the ANS into the sympathetic and parasympathetic parts. Both act oppositely but remain in constant, close interaction.

The autonomic nervous system controls processes that occur in the body automatically, without our control.

This training combines theory and practice. During the theoretical part we will discuss the ANS anatomy in detail to understand its function. In the practical part we will work on regulating the ANS.

  • Physiology and function of the ANS
  • Sympathetic nervous system — anatomy, sympathetic pathways and function
  • Parasympathetic nervous system — anatomy, the vagus nerve and function
  • Limbic system
  • Somatic dysfunction — how problems in one body area reflect in other regions
  • Techniques for regulating sympathetic and parasympathetic parts
  • Techniques influencing the limbic system
  • Techniques influencing the sympathetic system

Location: Warsaw, ul. Ciszewskiego 15

Participation cost: 960 zł

The training takes place in an intimate four-person group, which makes learning very effective — the theoretical part is continuous interaction, and during practical sessions you can be sure you are performing the exercises correctly.
