The workshops are held on the occasion of the director’s 100th birthday and the Year of Wajda. During the meeting, participants will learn about Andrzej Wajda — his life, work and the most important moments of his biography that influenced Polish and world cinematography. The introduction will become a starting point for collaborative creative work. Children, working in stop-motion animation technique, will create a short animation inspired by the director’s biography.
The workshop will be led by Magdalena Bryll — a director and graduate of the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. She worked, among others, on the Oscar-winning “Peter and the Wolf.” She conducts stop-motion animation workshops across the country for children, young people and adults.
