    The Andrzej Wajda Film Culture Center and the Museum of Polish History invite teachers to a nationwide educational conference dedicated to the educational potential of Andrzej Wajda’s cinema and the role of culture in shaping civic attitudes.



    The program includes lectures, panels and practical workshops for teachers — how to use cinema in educational and upbringing work and how to talk with young people about values, responsibility, history and community.

    • Workshops for teachers (2 rounds): 09:30–10:15 and 10:30–11:15 (participant chooses two workshops: one subject-specific + one for educators)
    • Workshop topics:
    • Polish language – Contemporary readings of romantic topoi in Andrzej Wajda’s films ("Kanał", "Ashes and Diamonds", "The Wedding") – led by: FINA
    • History / civic education – Hero, heroism, acts of heroism: what can we learn from the heroes of Andrzej Wajda’s films ("Man of Marble", "Man of Iron", "Korczak", "Danton") – led by: MHP

    • 15:30–16:00 Closing of the conference
