Pointless Geometry returns to Teatr Komuna Warszawa to briefly open a space for sound and shared presence. Ambient and experimental music will flow slowly, in gaps of silence and careful listening. We invite you to a peaceful immersion.

Pointless Geometry is an independent music label founded in 2015, focused on experimental, electroacoustic music and sound art. The label primarily releases Polish artists, exploring areas of sound beyond genre boundaries.

The Pointless Geometry catalogue includes projects that work with sound narrative, texture and space, positioned between composition, improvisation and radio forms. The label presents its work in concert, gallery and radio spaces.

“Regina Silva” by Joanna Duda is an album growing out of attentive listening to the non-human world. From natural sounds and processed signals emerges a hypnotic structure pulsing with biological irregularity and repetition. Material created in Kenya treats the natural environment as a continuously communicating organism; the “Queen of the Forest” is a state of existence beyond the human perspective — music as a form of co-presence and equal communication.

Justyna Banaszczyk (FOQL) is an experimental electronic music artist active on the Polish and international scene. She was born and lives in Łódź; she co-runs the Pointless Geometry label and is a co-founder of the community Radio Kapitał. On the album “Bug Poems” she explores the experimental audio-play as a genre, moving toward sound poetry and spoken word.

Teoniki Rożynek is a composer and sound artist working with electroacoustic music and space. The album Pathopoeia / Tomba Emmanuelle consists of two compositions created in different spatial and biographical contexts; material based on field recordings, archives and microsamples creates a dual, acousmantic sound narrative.

The event is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw Office as part of the Komuna Warszawa – Social Cultural Institution project.
