We invite employees of Warsaw cultural institutions to the first workshop this year as part of the Warsaw Cultural Staff Strengthening Program.
In the cultural sector, change is the only constant. New projects, team rotations, shifts in grant priorities or restructurings mean our teams rarely remain in stable safety. We often focus on “delivering” the goal, forgetting that underneath a process is happening that determines whether in a month we will work in a supportive atmosphere or on the brink of burnout.
Therefore, the main aim of the workshop is a better understanding of team dynamics. During the meeting we will explore the topic of the group process so that it stops being dry theory and becomes a map helping you find yourself in tougher moments and regain calm. We will learn to diagnose which stage of the group process we are in and how to design solutions that make it easier to move through its individual phases.
The meeting will be led by Iza Gawęcka – a certified trainer and member of the Non-Governmental Organizations Trainers Association. Cultural studies specialist, animator, activist. WenDo self-defense and assertiveness trainer. She specializes in facilitation, meaning making meetings effective, friendly, and fully using the team's potential. Running her own practice allows her to support NGOs and cultural staff across Poland. More: More
