„Wariaci 2.0” is a performative morality play for an actor, a musician, a female singer and female multipart voices. Created on the basis of „The Madman and the Nun”, the performance takes the viewer into the depths of the main character’s psyche. The journey through the corners of his mind is an intense experience for the audience: at times it moves, at times it terrifies, and at times it becomes almost unbearable. The „liveness” of the music additionally emphasizes the actor’s emotional states, and the dialogue with physically absent women reflects the complicated psycho‑physical condition of the contemporary Everyman.

The text is a compilation of Witkacy’s „The Madman and the Nun”, „Mother” and „Drugs”. After the performance there will be a discussion about the stage situation and the work of S.I. Witkiewicz; the creators of the performance and representatives of the Witkacy Institute will take part in it.

Honorary patronage of ZASP and the recommendation and patronage of the Witkacy Institute.
