Concert Under the Stars: Chopin's Birthday

Chopin's birthday is a perfect occasion to hear his works beneath the stars of the Planetarium. Sources give two birth dates for the composer (22 February or 1 March 1820), and the organizer invites you to two concerts. These will be emotional encounters with Chopin's music, enhanced by carefully selected visualizations of the sky. Pianist Wojciech Kruczek will perform at the grand piano.

Wojciech Kruczek

Master of Arts, graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, with specializations in piano (under prof. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just) and piano chamber music (under prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska). He has a broad and stylistically diverse solo and chamber repertoire. He is interested in rediscovering forgotten music by Polish composers and in historical performance on period pianos.
