Another edition of the series “With Classics Across Poland” is a meeting with an outstanding representative of the young generation of Polish pianists – Mateusz Dubiel.
The artist, laureate of prestigious competitions and awards, will play works by Chopin, Brahms and Schubert, presenting different faces of the Romantic piano repertoire. The concert will be not only an opportunity to hear excellent interpretations but also to meet the artist more closely.

The event will be broadcast on Program 2 of Polish Radio and as a video on the YouTube channels of Dwójka and the National Institute of Music and Dance (NIMiT).
Mateusz Dubiel graduated in 2023 from the music school in Bielsko-Biała in the piano class of Anna Skarbowska; he is currently studying at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków in the class of Prof. Mirosław Herbowski.
He is the winner of the 51st and 53rd National Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw (2022, 2025) and a participant in the XIX International Chopin Competition in Warsaw (2025). Laureate of international piano competitions, including Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam in Bydgoszcz, the International Chopin Competition in Szafarnia, Jeune Chopin in Lugano and the Baltic Piano Competition in Gdańsk. He improved his skills in masterclasses led by outstanding pianists, including Michel Béroff, Piotr Paleczny, Kevin Kenner, Andrzej Jasiński, Arie Vardi and Angela Hewitt.
He has performed recitals and concerts in the most important halls in Poland (e.g. the National Philharmonic, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Centre in Lusławice, Cavatina Hall) and abroad (e.g. Japan, USA, Morocco, France, Germany). He has participated in prestigious festivals, including the Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, the Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk and Wawel o Zmierzchu.
Winner of the Koryfeusz of Polish Music statuette in the Discovery of the Year category (2025) and the IKAR Award of the President of the City of Bielsko-Biała. Scholarship holder of, among others, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Young Poland program, the National Fund for Children and the Henryk Sztompka Scholarship Fund.
