Krakow Women's Month at Zajezdnia

March in Kraków becomes for the fifth time Krakow Women's Month — a special time to celebrate female strength, solidarity and community. This initiative highlights the importance of women in the city's history and present, promoting equality, social engagement and opening space for important discussions about their role in society. The event is not only an opportunity to celebrate but also a moment to reflect on the importance of cooperation and mutual support in building egalitarian relations and a better world for everyone.

  We invite you to a guided tour of the “Miasto.Technoczułość” exhibition combined with workshops, held as part of Krakow Women's Month.
  
  During the meeting we will look at selected profiles of Kraków women who left a lasting mark on the city's history through their professional and social activities. In the exhibition space we will talk about their work, achievements and influence on contemporary Kraków.
  
  The main protagonist of the event will be architect Diana Reiter. After learning about her story and work, participants will take part in a hands-on workshop inspired by her architectural projects.
  
  We invite you to discover the city together through women's stories, architecture and creative activity.

  Classes as part of Krakow Women's Month.
  
  Did you know that weaving contributed to the development of programming? In the class we will jointly look at the history of making textiles and clothing. There will also be a short tour of the part of the permanent exhibition relevant to the topic.
  
  In the practical part each participant will make a decorative ribbon (krajka) using the ancient tablet weaving technique.
