About the event

We invite you to an author evening with Jarosław Kielak about his debut novel: “The Printer from the Białowieża Forest”

  • 18:00 – café area
  • 19:00 – conversation with the author + discussion

📅 February 24

📍 Park View Club, Lipowa 7a, Warsaw

Free entry | Limited seating

“The Printer from the Białowieża Forest” — a story in which literary fiction intertwines with a real conflict that still provokes emotions today.

It’s the tale of a biologist who finds himself in the middle of a dispute over saving nature. There is a kidnapping. There is love. There are activists, foresters, loggers, police, and even the military. There is also a question — how far can a person go in the name of “saving the world”?

During the meeting we will talk about:

  • the behind-the-scenes of the debut and the path to publishing the book
  • the writing process
  • the characters and inspirations
  • the real conflict that became the starting point for the novel

This will not be a polite lecture. The author wants to draw you into the conversation — so prepare questions and opinions for a discussion about nature, responsibility, and the limits of human actions.

The meeting will be led by Agnieszka Czarnecka.

From 18:00 we invite you to the café — there will be time for conversations, cocktails and snacks. Books will be available for purchase on site.
