Solvay at Night is a series of evening concerts inviting debuting artists to present their work on the large, professional stage of CSW Solvay. It’s a space to encounter new sounds, fresh energy and original musical visions — an opportunity to discover artists who are only beginning their stage careers but are already building distinctive worlds.
Jakub Szybiak is a Kraków pianist and composer who creates music based on emotions, subtle narrative and memorable motifs that linger long after listening.
The artist’s compositions have been selected for official playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer and Pandora, and their total plays have exceeded 15 million worldwide. In his work he is inspired by the neoclassical current and composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen and Ólafur Arnalds, enriching it with influences from jazz, pop, rock and world music, creating his own musical language based on minimalism and the emotional expression of the piano.

During the concert at the Solvay Center for Contemporary Music the artist will present a one-hour solo piano set made up of his own compositions — pieces that are especially close to him and resonate most strongly. The evening will be completed by an intimate space, candlelight and immersive visualizations, creating a unique atmosphere of focus and closeness to the music.
