Solvay at Night: an ambient concert by Łukasz Łukasik and Brunon Lubas

We invite you to a premiere improvised concert at the Solvay Centre for Contemporary Art, during which Brunon Lubas and Łukasz Łukasik will present their original material for the first time.

This is a meeting of analog and digital sounds, ambient landscapes, film and electronic music inspirations, and a broadly understood cinematic aesthetic. Electronic structures built and processed on a modular system will intertwine with the timbre of instruments:

• bass guitar
• violin
• duduk

Improvisation here is not only a performance technique but above all a creative method and a way of being in music. The concert becomes a sonic story about letting go of control and listening to the other person. It is a process of mutual discovery between the artists and with the audience — opening space for emotions, unexpected dialogues, silence and tension.

The meeting of Brunon and Łukasz is an attempt to discover and get to know oneself through another person and through sound. Spontaneity and building trust become the foundation of the narrative, and every moment carries the potential to change direction. Music is born from relationships and contexts that arise here and now.

The concert will last about 60 minutes, and the visuals will be provided by szumy.mkv. After the concert we invite you to an original DJ set by DJ Winogrono Jasne Luz.
