We are presenting the 6th Halina Machulska Award! This award honors artists, educators, and people involved in theatrical and artistic education who, through their work, initiate and consistently nurture creative communities. The award includes a financial prize, and the winner will be selected by a Jury composed of previous award winners and experts in theatre education and pedagogy. We encourage you to check the list of previous awardees: https://teatrochoty.pl/nagroda-im-haliny-machulskiej-2/ The competition consists of two stages: - In the first stage, the Jury will select 5 nominations for the Halina Machulska Award from the submitted applications. The publicly announced nominations will allow us to highlight individuals active in the field of modern theatre education. - In the second stage, the Jury will choose the winner of the Halina Machulska Award from among the nominees, who will be revealed during a ceremonial Gala. We invite you to submit your own application, but we especially encourage group members, alumni, students, parents, guardians, and all collaborators to nominate candidates. The award is an opportunity to honor those you have met on your artistic, theatrical, or educational journey—those who inspire you and help you take your first and next steps in the world of theatre. We want to learn as much as possible about the nominee: Who are they? Who do they work with? Why and how do they collaborate? The announcement of the nominees will take place no later than 2 weeks after the application deadline. 🗓️ The announcement of the winner and the award ceremony will take place on December 13, 2025, at the Ochota Theatre named after Halina and Jan Machulski.
