
Managing your energy is one of the most important skills for a yoga teacher. From intensive classes and contact with many people to organizing spaces and events — to act efficiently and lightly we need to consciously manage our energy and find a balance between giving and regenerating, being there for others and being there for ourselves.
Working with our nervous systems teaches us that energy is not something abstract. It is a real force that flows through the body and affects emotions, decisions and relationships.
I will tell you about yogic practices that help unblock stagnation and wisely manage your energy. These are tools that support both the teacher in daily work and students, helping them return to a sense of agency and calm.
Relaxation methods and work with the nervous system are the foundation that allows maintaining balance in an intense life. Breath, meditation, mindful movement and other techniques help quiet stress reactions and find a pleasant, energetic flow state. When the nervous system is regulated, energy flows more freely and we can act with ease and creativity.
In this workshop I will explain these techniques and help you experience their effects firsthand.
