Pesach is approaching — in the next meeting of the “Judaism in Practice” series we’ll move from theory to action. How do you prepare for a seder? How do you read the haggadah and give the meal a meaning that feels authentic and uniquely yours?
Tuesday, March 10 at 18:00
JCC Warsaw (ul. Chmielna 9A)
Registration: https://www.jccwarszawa.pl
Step by step through the structure of the seder, Stanisław Krajewski will guide us, show sample haggadot and suggest how to calmly and deliberately lead your own Pesach evening, regardless of your level of experience. This meeting is for anyone who wants to feel more confident at the holiday table — as participants and as hosts!
Stanisław Krajewski is an emeritus full professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Warsaw. He was an active participant in the renewal of Jewish life in Poland, a co-creator of the postwar section of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews exhibition; since 1990 he has been co-chair of the Polish Council of Christians and Jews. He is the author of books and articles on logic, philosophy of mathematics, Judaism, the history and experiences of Jews, and interreligious dialogue. “Judaism in Practice” is a series of monthly thematic conversations that create a safe and open space for asking questions, organizing knowledge, and getting familiar with Jewish practices and concepts. No lecturing tone, no pressure, and no “stupid questions.” See you at the JCC!
