Many regions of Poland have a local specificity rooted in their history, often full of dramatic events and historical upheavals. Join the next meeting in the new “Polish Paths” series — this time dedicated to the Kashubians!
This is one of the most picturesque and extraordinary regions of Poland. It is distinguished by a unique culture and a traditional language, officially recognized as a regional language twenty years ago.
Who are the Kashubians who have inhabited these lands for centuries? To what extent do they still determine the character of the region? Does being an ethnic minority give strength or cause insecurities?
Reporting on the land of her childhood and the region’s current face is Stasia Budzisz, a reporter originating from Kashubia. She is asked by Paulina Wilk.
