About the event

Guided Tour of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews (places limited to 25)

I invite you on a journey through a thousand years of the history and culture of Polish Jews — once the largest Jewish community in the world. It is also a story about Poland that many will hear for the first time. The walk includes encounters with the first Jewish merchants, the period when Poland became a homeland for most European Jews, the Jewish town, social and economic transformations, the birth of modern antisemitism, the destruction during World War II, and Jewish life during the PRL era and today.

We will visit the most modern museum exhibition in Poland — interactive, filled with multimedia, and executed with extraordinary artistic craft. In 2016 the POLIN Museum received the title European Museum of the Year.
