Parsha Club with rabbi Michael Paley
About the event
We invite you to a brand-new series of weekly, one-hour sessions dedicated to studying the Parsha, led by Rabbi Michael Paley. The classes are open to the entire community — in Warsaw, across Poland, and around the world. Zoom gives us the chance to meet together, no matter where we live. We begin on Thursday, 20 November at 7:00 PM. The sessions will take place every week.

What to expect? Parsha Club is a space for shared learning and discovering biblical narratives on many levels. We will:
- explore the text through linguistics and scholarly analysis,
- draw on medieval commentaries,
- and above all, focus on the story — and the story behind the story.
How do successive sections of the Torah connect? What do they say about the lives of the characters — both major and minor? What narratives lie beneath the surface? Rabbi Paley will lead us into the text with lightness, attentiveness, and humor. We guarantee: it will be both wise and enjoyable. See you at the Parsha Club!
