We invite you to a two-day embroidery workshop — join us and discover the beauty of embroidery inspired by traditional craftsmanship!
Meetings dedicated to canvas embroidery — a technique with a rich history based on counted stitches. Historically used as a cheaper alternative to tapestries, also known as Gobelin embroidery. Already in the Middle Ages it decorated furniture upholstery, and from the 16th century it embellished home interiors.
During the workshop we will introduce participants to the basics of this traditional technique. The classes are aimed at complete beginners who want to start their embroidery journey. At the same time we'll loosen up hands stiffened after winter.
Together we will create a shaded motif, learning step by step the rules of working with canvas and counted stitches.
