We'll learn various types of filling stitches while embroidering fabrics with dachshunds. We'll treat embroidery like coloring — instead of crayons and markers we'll use needles and threads.
You will receive many practical tips and learn 5–6 versatile stitches that will allow you to fill any shape with embroidery.
Besides learning stitches, I also care about conversation and meeting people: you meeting me, participants meeting each other, your hand meeting your head, thread meeting fabric. We'll chat like in a local craft circle.
The result of our work will be an embroidered hoop with dachshunds that you can hang on the wall or give to someone close.
HOST: Gosia Samborska – embroidery artist, AI trainer, embroidery teacher. For five years she taught embroidery at the Złote Rączki Embroidery School founded by Monika Drożyńska; for three years she has been running workshops independently.

Embroidery for me is hand yoga, a kind of moving meditation. It is also a form of contemporary activism, analog guerrilla craft. We live in a world of productivity pressure, where speed and efficiency matter more than precision and deeper understanding. I love embroidery for its slow pace, for teaching patience and focus, which through its physicality and tangibility gives an immediate sense of agency. I believe that its subversive potential of gentleness and empathy is what we need now.
