On T‑shirts, sweatshirts or cotton bags. Note — we embroider on your own garments — simple botanical motifs.
You will receive many practical tips and learn 5–6 versatile stitches. You will learn how to embroider on clothes, how to transfer a pattern, which tools to use, what to watch out for, and how different types of interfacing (crucial for garment embroidery) differ from one another.
Besides learning stitches, I also care about conversation and meeting: meeting you and me, participants with each other, your hand with your head, thread with fabric. We will chat like in a city homemakers’ circle.
The result of our work will be your garment decorated with embroidery, for example: a T‑shirt with a sprig, a sweatshirt with a letter, a shirt with a small embroidered floral meadow.

Embroidery for me is hand yoga, a kind of moving meditation. It is also a form of contemporary activism, analog guerrilla. We live in a world of productivity compulsion, where efficiency and speed matter more than precision and deeper understanding. I love embroidery for its slow pace, for teaching patience and focus, which through its physicality and tangibility gives an immediate sense of agency. I believe its subversive potential of gentleness and empathy is what we need now.
