    About the event

    WHAT WILL WE DO?

Join us for a unique meeting where we will demystify the winter landscape by the Vistula. During the workshop we will pause for a moment and try to focus our attention on the surrounding nature. We will experience it mindfully through the senses.

    • Mindfulness walk: for a moment we will become true hunters of winter colors. We will check whether this season is really only “gray-dull.”
    • Touching nature: is tree bark warm or cold in winter? Which elements of the landscape are hard and which are soft? Using the frottage technique we will take some textures with us for further work.
    • Listening: we will try to find sounds in the winter silence.
    • Artistic activity: in the warm interior of the Pavilion we will create an artwork presenting our own vision of winter. We will use the color swatches prepared earlier and the collected textures.
    • Closing: after the workshop part we invite you to a communal bonfire on the Vistula meadow by the Pavilion — time for relaxed conversations, exchange of thoughts and celebrating the winter atmosphere by the fire.

    Important information:
    - Food: we provide fire and sticks for roasting. Please bring your own food and drinks (e.g. sausages, vegetables to roast, bread and a thermos with hot tea).
    - Clothing: remember warm shoes and dressing in layers.
