Weekend course with Lama Stéphane
Lojong belongs to the Mahayana tradition. Often translated as “mind training”, it constitutes a complete practice combining shamatha and vipashyana and the path of compassionate activity. Through exercises rooted in ultimate and relative bodhicitta, the veils of ignorance and emotional afflictions are purified, the practitioner is freed from the bonds of ego, and the compassionate activity of a bodhisattva can develop. It is a practice to apply in everyday life, allowing us to follow in the footsteps of the great bodhisattvas and masters of the past, present, and future.
The course will be based on the work of the First Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye, who wrote a precise and clear commentary that gives us the opportunity to understand the meaning of these rare and precious teachings and how to apply them in our daily lives.
The course will take place at the Khyenkong Karma Kagyu Poland centre in Warsaw, ul. Stanisława Przybyszewskiego 36/4, and online (on the Zoom platform; registered participants will receive the link).
The course will be translated from English into Polish.
Participation fee (in person and online): 108 PLN/day.
Additionally, on Friday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m Lama Stephane will give an open lecture entitled: Why is meditation relevant in today’s world? Participation in the Friday lecture is free.
