COMMUNAL ZAZEN
You are warmly invited to a 4-hour zazen led by Łukasz Jokiel, who has long been involved in Zen practice in the Pusta Chmura lineage.
From 10:00 to 14:00 we plan Zen meditation — zazen and free walking, as well as time for shared silent tea.
For beginners who have not previously encountered Zen, an introduction is scheduled so they can consciously enter their first zazen practice.
Schedule for the day:
Places are limited! Please register in advance.
Mats and cushions are available on site.
The Zen practice of the Pusta Chmura lineage is a direct experiencing of reality as the present. The meditation is non-denominational and not tied to any religious or philosophical doctrine. It is based on the transmission of the historical Buddha and Chan/Zen masters such as Hui-nenh (Huineng), Chao-Chou (Joshu), but above all Lin-Chi (Rinzai), whose transmission was received and continues into the 21st century. At the same time, the Pusta Chmura lineage maintains an active dialogue with streams of Christian contemplation and contemporary sciences such as anthropology, psychology, neurobiology and physics. It organizes congresses, symposia and publishes thematic publications.
