On Friday, March 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM we invite you to Lengrenówka for a pop-up exhibition of works by Karol Patoła a.k.a. Nekronim as part of the “Good Lines” series, organized in cooperation with the Museum of Comics in Kraków. This is the fourth season of exhibitions showcasing the work of contemporary Polish comic artists.
The exhibition presents a variety of drawings, comic pages and objects created by Karol Patoła in recent years. His work is connected to self-publishing and the Kraków comics scene, and draws inspiration from broadly understood fantasy, fandoms and old zines.
The works shown at the exhibition are interpretations of horror literature (including novels by H.P. Lovecraft, Robert W. Chambers and Stefan Grabiński), executed in various drawing techniques and on different supports. The exhibition also includes pages published in anthologies (Fanga, Rzeźzin, Dreszczyk Zin) as well as notebooks sewn using the artist’s own technique.
Karol Patoła — graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Faculty of Graphic Arts. Co‑creator of the zine Fanga and author of the comic “Guide to RPGs”. He is currently researching comic art and role‑playing games at the Doctoral School UKEN in Kraków. He works in illustration and handmade self-published zines. A fan of horror, fantasy and 80s music.
“Good Lines” are solo exhibitions by talented creators of illustration, comics and satirical drawings — authors who have made their mark in the book market, the press, online and the artistic community.
