In this session I will show you how to work wisely with the spine and the entire posterior chain to feel lightness, strength and space instead of discomfort. For many years I practiced the second Ashtanga series, yet my kapotasana barely progressed. Only after modifying my practice did I begin to lightly reach for my heels and even my calves, and backbends became comfortable.
The workshop is led by an experienced yoga teacher, owner of Strefa Yogi from Gdynia, Dominika Płachecka, specializing in backbends and balances, who trains yoga teachers. I personally went from lower back pain — after years working in a corporation and wearing high heels — to full freedom in the body. Because of that I know exactly how to help you enter backbends wisely and safely. I practice the third Ashtanga series and am developing in the psychosomatic stream and traditional Chinese medicine.
