Krasiński Garden and its surroundings

I invite you to a walk through the Krasiński Garden, during which we will learn about the history of the park and the changes that have occurred in its surroundings over the centuries. 📅 We meet on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 12:00 in front of the gate to the Krasiński Garden on the side of Gen. Andersa Street. The walk is expected to last about 90 minutes. During the walk, we will learn: - Where did the first electric tram start and where did it go? - Where did the Baden Palace stand and what interesting things did it offer? - Where was the boundary of the "two worlds"? - Where was President Stefan Starzyński's shelter located? - Where could you drink milk straight from the cow? - Why did the Umbrella end up on the Krasiński Palace? - Where did the wooden guardhouse stand and what was its purpose? - Where was the asylum for criminals? - Where was the cannon factory? - Where did the house of suicides stand? - What remains of the Simons Passage? - And much more... There is no fee for participating in the walk, but if you feel the guide deserves a tip, it is appreciated. The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek.
