About the event

I invite you to a walk through Krasiński Garden, during which we will learn the park’s history and the changes that have taken place in its vicinity over the centuries.

We meet on Saturday, 14 March 2026 at 15:00 in front of the gate to Krasiński Garden from the gen. Andersa side. The walk is planned to last about 90 minutes.

During the walk we will learn:

  • Where the first electric tram started and where it went?
  • Where the Baden Palace stood and what interesting things it offered?
  • Where the border of the "two worlds" ran?
  • Where President Stefan Starzyński’s shelter was located?
  • Where you could drink milk straight from the cow?
  • Why the Umbrella ended up on the Krasiński Palace?
  • Where the wooden sentry post stood and what it was used for?
  • Where the asylum for criminals was located?
  • Where the cannon factory was?
  • At which spot the house of suicides stood?
  • What remains of the Simons Passage?
  • and many more...

No fee is expected for participating in the walk; however, if you consider that the guide deserves a tip, it will be welcome.

The walk will be led by the city guide of Warszawski Zaułek. You are warmly invited and see you there.
