Neighborhood Seamstresses – Community Sewing School

We invite everyone obsessed with sewing. You can bring a project you’re currently working on and finish it in pleasant company. You can get help from others if a detail gives you trouble. We will share knowledge and talk about sewing (and life).

If you’ve never sewn before, come and see that a sewing machine isn’t scary. We’ll show you how to start your sewing journey, and you will make your first practice pieces and get comfortable with the equipment.

• There will be 4 sewing machines available on site that we will use on a rotational basis.
• If you want, you can come to the meeting with your own machine.
• We’d appreciate it if you brought something nice to share on the community table.
