If, like us, you see potential in every scrap of fabric, we invite you to a meeting of the patchwork lovers’ club, a project we started this year in our sewing studio.
But what is patchwork anyway? It’s a decorative method of joining fabrics of different colors so that they form a pattern. The colorful panels are then used for more or less useful items – they can cover a stain on an old T‑shirt, decorate cushions, bags or pouches, become a large patchwork bedspread or turn into wall art. In short, only your imagination limits you…
Important! We invite people who are independent at the sewing machine to the meeting. If you are interested in patchwork but don’t yet know how to sew, join our monthly “Neighborhood Seamstresses” meetings. There you will learn the basics of sewing and how to operate a machine.
We plan places for:
Host: Wiktoria Kosa Sikorska – patchwork enthusiast, neighbour and animator at MAL Kasprowicza 14.
For adults and youth 16+.
Due to high interest and limited places, in March we invite participation in at most two events requiring registration. Registration is required through the portal (link in the 'ticket' tab).
