The Ti Estin Aletheia Scientific Circle TBSP UJ and the Department of Roman Law WPiA UJ cordially invite you to participate in the National Scientific Conference titled “Justice in Law”. The conference is organized in cooperation with the Utriusque Iuris Scientific Circle WPiA UW. There will be student and doctoral panels as well as an expert panel.
📅 The conference will take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The exact schedule will be published after the selection of active participants.
📍 The event will be held in Kraków, in the Representative Rooms of the Larisch Palace at 12 Bracka Street.
Active participation
The aim of the conference is to analyze and discuss the issue of justice in law, understood both as a fundamental value of the legal system and as a principle determining the process of lawmaking and law application. The thematic scope of the conference includes diverse concepts of justice, in particular in philosophical, doctrinal and normative approaches, as well as the issue of its realization in particular legal systems. The conference provides a forum for the exchange of views of representatives of various theoretical currents and interpretative approaches, including with regard to specific legislative and judicial solutions.
Papers that, in the opinion of the abstract reviewers, fit within the thematic scope of the conference will also be accepted. We also encourage consideration of topics other than those indicated above.

⏳ Applications must be submitted by March 29. The results of the abstract selection will be announced by April 12.
Please prepare presentations lasting no longer than 15 minutes.
