About the event

The Society of the Library of Law Students at Jagiellonian University warmly invites you to participate in a visit to the Institute of Forensic Research in Kraków!

During the visit, the general activities of the Institute will be presented and experts from individual laboratories will give presentations on:



  • alcohol and drug testing
  • forensic informatics
  • microtrace analysis
  • handwriting and document examination


This is a great opportunity to learn about the Institute's work, the duties of court experts, details of conducting scientific research, and the use of modern sciences in the justice system.



When: 23 March 2026
Time: from 11:00 to 13:15
Where: Institute of Forensic Research named after Prof. Dr. J. Sehn in Kraków, Westerplatte 9, 31-033 Kraków



Registration: by completing the form. The form is available from 3 to 13 March until 23:45. Places are limited! Priority is given to members of TBSP UJ structures. Results will be announced by email on 14 March 2026. Applications are processed in order of submission.
