    As part of the Social Archive of the Kasprzak Radio Works we invite you to the unveiling of two sculptures inspired by the history of the works.



    Piotr Maciejowska and Filip Figiel engage in a dialogue with the sounds that once filled the factory grounds and with the transformations that took place after the factory closed. Maciejowska uses the principle of the Helmholtz resonator, turning the former radio static into a subtle trace of memory, while Figiel creates an object commenting on the silencing and indifference that befell the former aesthetic space of the Works.



    The Social Archive of the Kasprzak Radio Works collects memories and mementos of the factory that stood in Warsaw’s Wola district for over 40 years. People who would like to share memories and memorabilia related to ZRK are invited to contact the archive coordinator Hanna Sabat:

    Event accessibility:



    • Location: Dom Społeczny, ul. Obozowa 85
    • Transport: the nearest public transport stop DEOTYMY is about 50 m away
    • Access: from Obozowa Street there is a pavement with irregular steps, and from Deotymy Street a cobbled driveway
    • The building has no elevator or ramps for wheelchairs; there is an accessible toilet for people with disabilities on site
    • There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities near the building
    • Above the main entrance there is a TOTUPOINT marker
    • Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed into the building and all its rooms
    • There are no Braille signs or high-contrast or large-print markings for blind and partially sighted people in the building
    • An induction loop is available at the reception
    • The facility offers an online Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter: tłumacz PJM


    During the event you can borrow noise-reducing headphones for children and adults.
