About the event

Collecting Zone – Club of Women Collectors and Art Lovers

Dear Women Art Lovers, Dear Members of the Collecting Club, We are delighted and honored to invite you to a special meeting that will bring a new perspective to our collecting discussions and the view on women's creative work and history.

📍 Hotel Indigo Old Town in Krakow

📅 November 27 (Thursday), 7:00 PM Our special guests will be Alicja Zioło and Joanna Styrylska.

Alicja Zioło — the acclaimed author of the book “Krakowianki / Faces of Polish Herstory”, who fascinatingly restores the memory of outstanding women connected with Krakow. During the evening Alicja will share her knowledge and passion, introducing us to the world of women’s historical and artistic narratives; it will be an opportunity to talk about the significance of Herstory for contemporary collecting and to reflect on the role of women in Polish art.

Joanna Styrylska — the event will be accompanied by Joanna Styrylska’s exhibition titled “Eye to Eye. Look Deeper.” The artist will speak about the project “I Believe in Women’s Art” and about family discoveries and inspirations from the work of Celina Styrylska Taranczewska, the author of the mosaic on the Biprostal building in Krakow.

We count on your presence and hope that together we will create a space for inspiring discussions. With respect, Gosia Błaszczyk & Agnieszka Wranka
