We invite you to a unique workshop focused on organizing coordinated work of the shoulders and pelvis. Through slow, gentle, conscious movements, you will discover how your body can work harmoniously and effortlessly. What will you experience? - Releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and back; - Better connection between the upper and lower body, left and right sides; - Improved fluidity of movement; - Natural coordination, stability, and lightness in everyday movement; - Reduced stress levels and improved sleep quality (as these classes directly affect the Autonomic Nervous System, which is responsible for our state of calm or fight). Who is it for? - For people suffering from anxiety and insomnia; - For those experiencing pain (in the back, hips, shoulders, or neck) caused by improper body tension (sedentary lifestyle, performing asymmetrical activities, etc.); - For athletes, dancers, and anyone who wants to improve posture and move more efficiently and with less effort. The Feldenkrais Method is an excellent choice for seniors because it is based on gentle, conscious movements and does not require significant physical effort. Each participant can exercise at their own pace without the risk of overexertion. The workshop lasts 1.5 hours, during which we will spend time on mats lying on our sides, performing and exploring easy movements of the shoulder joint while engaging the pelvic area. I highly recommend wearing clothes that do not restrict free movement; sports pants and a long-sleeved shirt are ideal 😊. Additionally, please bring an extra layer of clothing, as due to relaxation and calming of the Nervous System after the class, we tend to feel cold (this is why we sleep under a blanket at night). Svetlana Mikutel – is a certified Feldenkrais Method therapist.
