Ceramics Workshop – Painting a Relief Plate 26 cm or Bowl During this 5-hour workshop, you will create your own large plate or bowl, decorated using the relief painting technique with glazes. This is a rarely seen method that allows you to achieve extraordinary, three-dimensional effects. WHY IS IT WORTH PARTICIPATING IN THE WORKSHOP? - You will gain knowledge about various ceramic decoration techniques – we will start with a theoretical introduction, during which I will discuss types of separators, show works made in different techniques, and explain how they differ. - You will learn the difference between classic cuerda seca and the relief glaze painting technique. - You will master a unique relief decoration method – available only at a few workshops in Poland! WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? - You will learn how to choose glazes and transfer patterns to achieve spectacular effects – you will find out which glazes work best and which to avoid. - We work with glazes from various manufacturers – a huge palette of colors will allow you to create a unique, painterly project. - You will receive practical tips on how to avoid mistakes – you will see real examples and ways to prevent them. - I will show you which brushes work best for this technique and help you choose a pattern – ready-made or your own design. - You will create a large plate (26 cm) or bowl, which will be ready for pickup after firing in a few days (shipping available for an additional fee). - A small group ensures an individual approach and a creative atmosphere. - The workshop is for everyone – regardless of experience level! I will guide you step by step. - You will also learn how to combine relief glazing with underglaze technique – I will show you how to try this combination yourself.
