When the body speaks. Paths of new beginnings.
We invite you to a one-day New Year developmental workshop 'When the body speaks...', which is an opportunity for a deep connection with the body and the stimulation of creative potential supporting the process of change.
The workshop was born from our sisterly connection and passion for exploring the language of movement and conscious work with the body.
During the workshop, you will experience how conscious work through the body can support connecting with inner strengths and resources. You will open up to new possibilities and creative actions in the upcoming year 2025.
A new beginning – a moment of decision, change, and readiness for what is to come.
• When the body speaks… and the mind cannot keep up.
• When the body speaks… and I hear its voice.
• When the body speaks… and I enter into dialogue with it.
• When the body speaks… and I listen and begin to feel.
The beginning of the year is a time for reflection, summaries, and plans for the future. It is a moment to pause and consider:
• What has been important to us?
• What has supported us, and what has hindered our development?
• What experiences and relationships have strengthened our authenticity and alignment with our desires, values, and boundaries?
By listening to your body, each participant will examine the place they are currently in, asking themselves questions:
• What would I like to change this year?
• Where do I want to be?
• What do I want to make space for, and what do I want to say goodbye to?
• Who am I when I find myself in a place where 'I don't know what to do next'?
• What resources do I have? What do I need to make a change?
• What tools can support me?
• How can I release creative energy to create paths of new beginnings?
The body as a source of transformation.
The body is a container of our experiences, recorded stories, and tensions. It tells about our experiences, is our wisdom, and an integral part of the processes we go through.
Through movement and dance, we will seek:
• grounding,
• shelter,
• stability,
• support for ourselves.
Change begins in the body before it is realized at the level of thoughts or emotions. It is a process that requires time to notice, name, and accept. Conscious decisions about change become possible through a deeper relationship with the body, which points the way to what is true and authentic.
Movement as a path of change and expression.
During the workshops, we will practice spontaneous movement and dance that shapes unconscious energy and creative creation.
We will experience how:
• movement is action,
• dance can be a bridge between the body and the mind,
• change reflects our inner states and the place we are in here and now.
Dance will become a story for us about inner dialogue, allowing observation of external stimuli and responding to them with expression and form of expression.
We will practice:
• listening to the somatic language of the body,
• recognizing signals coming from the body,
• adequately responding to its needs.
For whom?
The workshop is aimed at individuals identifying as women who:
• Wish to initiate change through dance, movement, and conscious work with the body.
• Want to start the new year with the energy of creative power, opening up to new possibilities.
• Desire to deepen their contact with the body and discover its creative potential.
• Are looking for inspiration for personal development and the initiation of new beginnings.
• Want to dedicate time to themselves and their process of change in a supportive environment.
What will support us?
• Developmental aspects of dance and movement psychotherapy – embodied practices opening space for creative creation and integration of the body with the mind.
• Working with the nervous system – increasing awareness of the nervous system supports balance and stability in the process of change.
• Somatic practices – mindfulness of movement and conscious work with breath enable better recognition and expression of one's needs, supporting the harmony of body and mind.

Practitioner of movement and somatic practices. I invite you to explore topics related to the relationship of self-body-emotions, expanding body awareness, and building a safe relationship with it; with conscious feeling of one's own body, expression in movement, and following the non-verbal signals coming from
the body.
I invite you to experience what is often felt from the level of the body but effectively blocked by the rational mind. From the level of the head and rationalization, I invite you to a space where you can experience listening to what the body communicates to us. Through movement.
There was a time when I developed in the area of HR, but after 8 years of working in a corporation, I felt it was time to move and embark on other paths. Thus, development.
For years, I have been sharing my knowledge and passion by leading psychological, movement-developmental, dance, and psychoeducational workshops with various groups throughout
Poland.
