Our bodies naturally strive for a state of balance. This happens simultaneously on many levels. We can support this dynamic process by allowing the body to relax and expand, settling into a deep sense of safety.
At every moment, we are in a dynamic process - the senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch register what is available around us. The muscular and skeletal systems and the sense of balance process information regarding the position of the body. The eighth sense - interoception processes sensations coming from within the body.
You can support your body by allowing the nervous system to regulate itself, flexibly responding to the stimuli that reach us.
Finding dynamic balance means stepping out of the pattern - it will be a good space to try to do something differently, for the first time. Through mindfulness, you can consciously decide how you will do it. Discover pleasure and relaxation in this moment, in which you are now.
During the workshops, you will experience:
• exercises supporting the regulation of the nervous system, promoting moving out of a state of functional freeze, supporting creativity, artistry, and play,
• exercises supporting a lively connection with yourself while being in contact with the environment,
• ways in which you can tenderly accompany yourself in what is present in you at that moment,
opportunities to be in contact with the environment and other people while being connected to yourself.
In the workshop program:
• intuitive movement, based among others on somatic yoga,
• somatic meditation,
• exercises supporting body awareness and the regulation of the nervous system solo and in pairs, drawing from the principles of Somatic Experiencing and polyvagal theory.
By participating in the workshops:
• you will experience deep rest,
• you will learn tools that you can use in your daily life.
For whom:
