3FoNIA is a solo music project by Jacek Mazurkiewicz, in which the main source of sounds is the double bass - natural or prepared.

During the 3FoNIA concert, one can expect compositions and improvised pieces on the border of contemporary chamber music, ambient, concrete music, experimentation, and avant-garde. It is also certain that the double bass will be used contrary to its original purpose. So far, 2 albums by 3FoNIA have been released - “Chosen Poems” and “Mneme”.

Jacek Mazurkiewicz - He is interested in broadly understood music. He composes his sounds based on emotional impressions and pulse. By combining acoustics with electronics, he is still searching for a new sound. He mainly co-creates authorial projects (Gabinet Masażu Ucha Wewnętrznego, Modular String Trio, 3FoNIA). He is involved in sound design, composing, and producing music for films and theatrical performances. He has collaborated with many Polish and foreign artists.
