Venezuelan Selbst approaches black metal in a way that forces the listener to engage their brain. All the time. The project managed by the enigmatic N focuses on the complex, highly dissonant side of the genre. There are melodies, but they are unpleasant, as if spoiled, along with a lot of controlled chaos and songwriting experimentation, often close to the progressive edges of metal.
