'And just like a dream, a wonderful dream, a new MDM rises' – we invite you to a Literary Walk through MDM and its nearby areas. We will tell you about the district built in the 1950s, as well as what was here before. We will recall the old pubs: Bar Owocowy, Złota Kurka, Pod Kandelabrami, and more. We will mention Słonimski, Hłasko, Broniewski, Himilsbach, Nowakowski, Tuwim, and many other authors. We will end the tour (only in a literary sense, of course) at the house of pleasures, run by Ryfka Kij.

We invite you on November 16, 2024 (Sunday), starting at 12:00 PM, at the corner of Marszałkowska and Wilcza (ul. Marszałkowska 75, under 'Izis'). The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours.

The walk will be led by Dorota Ryst – a poet, cultural animator, who has been exploring literary trails in Warsaw (and beyond) for many years.

The walk is free of charge, but if someone feels that the guide deserves a tip, it would be very nice.
