What awaits you?

*Dynamic warm-up with elements of stretching in movement – Instead, we will start the workshop with creative stretching in improvisation! We will combine elements of stretching with the natural flow of movement, so that from the very beginning we can immerse ourselves in dance.
*Dancing with a blindfold – Discover the full freedom of movement when you stop relying on your sight. The blindfold will allow you to focus on internal sensations, deepen body awareness, and quiet the critical voice in your head. This exercise brings incredible relief and opens you up to new ways of moving.
*Improvisation techniques – You will learn methods that will allow you to dance without patterns, in full freedom and spontaneity. You will learn how to release movement from deep within your body, without the need to plan what you will do next.
*Floorwork – You will learn to use the floor as support and inspiration for movement. We will work on fluidity and comfort in dancing close to the ground.

About the instructor: Małgorzata Arishka Szyłejko - Educator, culture ambassador, certified sports dance instructor, choreographer, certified instructor of Slavic gymnastics. Long-time soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Kortowo”, former dance theater teacher at the Youth Palace in Olsztyn. Actress and choreographer of the Olsztyn Street Theater. Participant in many dance workshops in Poland and abroad.

Over the years, she has been a choreographer and soloist in numerous dance and music productions, including the lead role in 'The Nutcracker' directed by Iwona Pavlovic. Scholarship holder of the President of Olsztyn and the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in the field of dance. Recently, she has been living in Warsaw and running the brand “Dziki Vajb” and “Dancepresso”.
