🟡 ABOUT THE EVENT
A curator-led tour of the temporary exhibition 'The Collector. Teresa Szwedkowicz (1930-2001)'. During the tour, we will discuss the issues of private collecting and the anthropology of objects, using the example of the work of Opoczno embroiderers collected by Teresa Szwedkowicz.

Among the numerous themes addressed in the exhibition, those concerning the relationship between objects and humans are particularly prominent. The starting point is a passion, a hobby that can concern each of us, and by becoming the content of life, it bears fruit in the form of a monumental collection that achieves the status of a historical museum artifact. We will also introduce the figure of the Collector Teresa Szwedkowicz and her collection.
