In intergenerational integrative-artistic workshops, we will jointly create a painted image of the Łazienki Amphitheater using thread and needle.

Various performances have been held in the Łazienki Królewskie since their inception. During the time of Stanisław Augustus, one of the stages was the Amphitheater, designed for grand spectacles for nearly a thousand spectators. The monument combines the motif of ancient ruins with the function of a theater in an open space in its architecture.

During the intergenerational integrative-artistic workshops, we will jointly create a painted image of the Łazienki Amphitheater using thread and needle. We will meet weekly and embroider using the tapestry stitch under the guidance of an experienced specialist. Each workshop participant will be assigned one fragment of the image to complete. During the final workshop, we will present the results of our work in the Amphitheater. Then we will connect all the embroidered pieces to create a work that is the result of our joint effort.

Dorota Wrońska - textile artist, weaver, embroiderer, craftswoman, painter. Her passion is artistic, unique, functional fabric. She shows and teaches how to use traditional crafts for personal development and to create beauty around us. For years, she has been conducting workshops at the Włochy Cultural Center, the Museum of the Palace of King Jan III Sobieski in Wilanów, at various events and festivals, as well as privately.
