Weekend, 10-hour training for individuals working in supportive roles in the area of sexuality – conducting sexological, psychotherapeutic, coaching processes, working with the body, leading group workshops in the field of sexuality.
During the training, we will look at common difficulties reported by individuals seeking support and development in the area of sexuality and use systemic thinking to shed new light on their potential sources, areas for seeking solutions, and our role as supporters of others' sexual development.
We will examine, among other things, issues of desire and sexual arousal, pain during intercourse, the decline of sexual life, the concepts of 'blocks' in sexual expression and 'mismatches' in couples. There will also be an opportunity to work on other examples brought by participants.
Through the training, you will gain an expanded understanding of the problems in which you support your clients, new tools for supportive work, and ways to cope with the difficulties you face in your work.
| During the training, we will discuss: |
- contemporary narratives of sexual development and what they illuminate, what they leave in the shadows, and why
- the consequences for sexual life brought by the meeting of patriarchy, feminism, capitalism, and sex-positivity
- the phenomenon of privatization of systemic problems in human sexuality and its consequences for our work
- the ways in which our and our clients' thought models influence the perception and naming of problems and consequently the areas for seeking solutions and dead zones of imagination
- the ongoing romantic-sexual relationship as a system, the mechanisms of meaning-making within it, and their impact on difficulties in the sexual life of the couple
- our role in the system supporting mental-sexual health and the resulting questions regarding the ethics and effectiveness of our work
The training lasts 10 hours and consists of two 5-hour online meetings via Zoom.
***** Feedback from participants in past editions of the training *****
Very thought-provoking training – once I see the matrix, I will probably never forget it. A beautiful awakening for all of us to our own dead zones and an explanation of sexual problems of individuals and couples as something different and more than 'private dysfunction.' Chapeau bas! Essential.

Expanding horizons, inspiring experience, both in the context of being a helper and as a sexual being. This was my first, but definitely not my last training under Agnieszka's guidance.

The training provides a completely new perspective on expert work, addressing current challenges in working with sexuality and psychology in general. Concrete, fascinating, and nuanced classes include a theoretical part and practical discussion of both common problems and those somewhat less frequently encountered in the office. Agnieszka also refers to useful literature, and discussions with participants in a safe atmosphere bring a beautiful diversity of experiences and viewpoints, necessary in discussing complicated systems. I recommend it to anyone who wants to gain a new perspective and better help clients cope with problems arising from systemic neglect.

The training is incredibly liberating, providing a great perspective in working with clients. The way knowledge is conveyed is superb. The opportunity to discuss personal experiences. Agnieszka does a great job during the workshop. I highly recommend it!

Conducted by
Agnieszka Szeżyńska - sexuality trainer for adults, consent educator on the certification path in the Circle of Consent model, linguist, trainer of critical and systemic thinking. She conducts workshops and body work sessions, helping clients build bodily lives and relationships based on the foundations of consent, care, and a sense of safety, which enable curiosity, exploration, and experiencing pleasure. In her work, she combines threads of individual agency with the challenges of functioning in systems that enforce bodily obedience.
She helps educators and facilitators of developmental processes, as well as institutions, to name challenges arising at the intersection of consensuality and hierarchy, to exercise power consciously of their privilege, and to create systems that learn and actively care for the well-being of the individuals within them, their right to self-determination, and freedom from systemic violence.
Author of books in the 'Intimacy Workshops' series. Co-creator of the Institute of Positive Sexuality in Warsaw.
