If you want to learn effective exercises and find out how to plan your own supplementary training, I invite you to my workshop on Saturday, November 9, at the Murall Annopol Climbing Center.
Who is it for?
I created the workshop with climbers of all skill levels in mind. By using the right selection and progression of exercises, you will create a set tailored to you, regardless of whether you are struggling at 5c or pushing for 7b.
SUPPLEMENTARY TRAINING FOR CLIMBERS is a workshop where:
💪 you will create your own supplementary training according to the KISS (Keep IT Simple Stupid) and MED (Minimum Effective Dose) principles,
💪 you will learn how to stretch safely and effectively so that the results translate into climbing,
💪 you will learn to combine strength training with mobility training,
💪 you will find out why it is worth training with a metronome,
💪 you will learn which exercises will directly improve your climbing technique,
💪 you will learn how to develop core stability and strength.
Workshop format:
🎓 During the sessions, you will go through the same motor tests as the UKA Murall athletes from my sports section.
🗒 Based on the results obtained, we will set goals to achieve during the supplementary training.
🧗♂ During the training, I will use active adult learning methods (problem-based methods, Kolb's cycle). It will be intense, fun, and inspiring. 🙂

Before the workshop, you will receive an email with questions that will help me tailor the workshop content to your expectations.
Materials
All materials we will use during the workshop will be provided to you after the training in electronic format as well.
Who am I?
⚫ a motor preparation trainer:
climbers of UKA Murall Warsaw (including team first place at the Polish Championships 2024)
Stanisław Pazgan (judo veteran, silver medalist at the 2023 World Championships and 2024 European Championships)
⚫ a physiotherapist and climbing instructor.

1. What do you think about my workshops?
I really liked them, it was important for me to have an individual approach to each of us.
2. Would you recommend 'Supplementary Training for Climbers' to friends? Why?
Absolutely, it is a great addition to climbing on the wall and gives a good overview of which muscle groups need to be strengthened off the wall.
3. What was the most interesting part of the workshop for you?

I really liked your workshops and they completely met my expectations. Would I recommend it? I have already recommended it to everyone who wanted to join me for this edition and had doubts because I think it is really worth participating regardless of the level at which a person climbs.
I liked the main part the most, which was checking my fitness and locating myself on the list of exercises you provided. I really enjoy checking my competencies and defining goals, and this was a great tool to realistically assess my form and what can help me become a better climber.
I would definitely recommend the workshops. I learned how to create a training plan and got to know a lot of exercises. I really liked that we discussed exercise variations and how to progress to the more difficult ones. It was also interesting to use a metronome.
I liked the practical part the most, which was discussing individual exercises and correcting posture.
I think your workshops are an excellent opportunity for climbers at every level of their climbing journey. In the section, we did talk about pull-ups, but I wasn't aware of many other exercises that later translate into real strength on the wall.'
In general, I think this is a very good training. Very expertly conducted, with references to research and scientific materials, and at the same time a nice relaxed atmosphere and some subtle jokes. And the email communication before and after the workshops
