🔵 As part of the mini-series of reading meetings 'Fantasy and Horror from Latin America,' Olga Godlewska, together with participants, will trace the roots of horror literature from the region and take a look at its contemporary version.
The first meeting will be dedicated to the collection 'Uncanny Tales from Hispano-America,' edited by Tomasz Pindel. Texts by Latin American authors from the 19th and early 20th centuries will serve as a starting point for a discussion on the issue of the uncanny, which preceded the later flourishing of magical realism and the currently observed dynamic development of horror literature, represented by authors such as Mariana Enríquez and Samanta Schweblin.
🔴 The meeting is aimed at youth aged 15+ and adults. Registration is required via the form [https://bitly.cx/T7DX](https://bitly.cx/T7DX).
