On October 12th at 7:00 PM, Martyna Jakubowicz will perform for the first time on our stage!
Martyna Jakubowicz is a one-of-a-kind performer of songs that are a mix of folk and blues music, as well as classic rock at its best.
Over the years, she has developed her unique style, combining ballad delicacy with bluesy and rock rebelliousness, along with the typical 80s defiance.
She composes most of her songs herself.
She collaborates permanently with Andrzej Jakubowicz, who is the author of most of the lyrics.
In the 80s, her songs recorded at the Agnieszka Osiecka PR studio ranked high on radio charts, and the song 'In concrete houses, there is no free love' held the top spot on the radio's Trójka Chart for many weeks and permanently entered the list of the most popular songs of those years.
During the concert, the artist will perform, among others, “In concrete houses, there is no free love,” “Lullaby for Misiaks,” “Sails just above the ground,” “Rock me,” “Come to me twice,” “Faith in our hearts,” and many more!
The concert will be combined with the promotion of an autobiographical book published by the Znak publishing house.
Excerpts will be heard during the concerts.
Martyna Jakubowicz will be accompanied on guitar by Janek Pentz.
Tickets priced at 120 PLN are available at 887 333 383.
